Preparation and precautions before installation of mechanical seal

<p>Before installing the <a href="https://www.lepu<a href="https://www.lepuseal.com/" target="_blank">seal</a>.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">mechanical seal,</a> you must first make preparations:</p><p><br></p><p>1. If a new<a href="https://www.lepuseal.com/" target="_blank"> mechanical</a> seal is replaced, it is necessary to check whether the model and specifications of the mechanical seal are correct and whether the quality meets the standards;</p><p>2. The end of the anti-rotation groove at the end of the static ring and the top of the anti-rotation pin should maintain an axial gap of 1mm-2mm to avoid buffer failure;</p><p>3. The end faces of the moving and static rings are cleaned with alcohol. The remaining metal parts are cleaned with gasoline and dried with clean compressed air. Carefully check to ensure that the sealing surfaces of the moving and static rings are not damaged. Before assembling, two pieces of "0" rubber seals should be coated with a layer of lubricating oil, and the end faces of the moving and static rings must not be oiled.</p><p><br></p><p>The components of the <a href="https://www.lepuseal.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">mechanical seal</a> and their associated contact surfaces must be cleaned with acetone or absolute alcohol before installation. Keep clean during installation, especially the moving and static rings and auxiliary sealing elements should be free of impurities and dust. Apply a clean layer of motor oil or turbine oil to the surface of the moving and static rings.</p>
