Mold protection</p><p>Due to the specificity, precision, and fragility of the mold, the safety protection of the mold is very important. The overall summary is as follows:</p><p>(1) Rust prevention: Prevent rusting caused by water leakage, condensation, rain, fingerprints, etc. in the injection mold;</p><p>(2) Anti-collision: Prevent the mold from crashing due to the breakage of the thimble and the failure to retract in place;</p><p>(3) Deburring: Prevent mold burrs caused by cloth wiping, material punching, hand wiping, nozzle pliers touch, knife touch;</p><p>(4) Missing parts: prevent mold damage during use due to lack of tie rods, washers and other parts;</p><p>(5) Anti-pressure: prevent the mold from being crushed due to the mold being locked due to the remaining product;</p><p>(6) Underpressure: to prevent mold damage caused by excessive low pressure protection.</p><p><br></p><p>Among them, the proportion of mold damage caused by broken thimble, thimble not returning in place, residual products in the mold, and lack of accessories is relatively high, and because it occurs more frequently, more than 85% of mold damage is caused by this , And the maintenance cost of the mold is generally high. Therefore, how to avoid this situation is directly related to the interests of the injection molding industry.</p><p><br></p><p>In order to prevent production delays caused by mold damage and high maintenance costs, and at the same time, to better save labor resources, some companies have developed a product using machine vision technology after continuous research and improvement, called "mold protector".</p><p><br></p><p>Mold monitor, or mold protector, also known as mold electronic eye, can effectively protect expensive molds. Some mold experts said that the injection mold protection system, installed on the injection molding machine, can directly check whether the product is qualified, and check for residues before closing the mold to prevent mold damage.</p><p><br></p><p>When the injection molding machine is running, in each cycle, expensive molds may be damaged due to plastic residue or dislocation of the slider. The mold protector can prevent these situations from happening, automatically prevent the mold from closing when an abnormality occurs, and give an alarm.</p><p><br></p><p>2. Mold repair</p><p>(1) When disassembling the mold, avoid bumps and water, and move smoothly;</p><p>(2) Spray the hot mold, and then spray a small amount of release agent;</p><p>(3) Comprehensive inspection of the mold and anti-rust treatment should be carried out, and moisture and debris in the cavity, core, ejector mechanism and row position should be carefully wiped out, and the mold should be sprayed with anti-rust agent and butter.</p><p><br></p><p>3. Mold maintenance</p><p>In the continuous working process of the mold, due to the wear of parts, deterioration of lubricant, water leakage, and crushing of plastic materials during the movement process, mold maintenance is required.</p><p>Mold maintenance is generally divided into daily maintenance and lower mold maintenance.</p><p>(1) The daily maintenance of molds generally includes the following aspects:</p><p>①Remove rust regularly (appearance, PL surface, mold cavity, core, etc.);</p><p>②Re-add lubricant regularly (ejector mechanism, row position, etc.);</p><p>③ Regularly replace the wear parts (tie rods, bolts, etc.).</p><p>(2) The lower mold maintenance of the mold requires professional maintenance personnel to remove the mold and conduct professional testing and protection of the mold cavity and thimble.</p>
