<p>When looking for sexy Halloween costume ideas, most simply people think of nightgowns, maid outfits or teddies for women and pirates or vampires for men. There are many other possibilities, of course and with a little imagination and pre-planning, you can come up with something no one else at the party will have.</p><p><br></p><p>Here are some areas to think about when planning your costume:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Military</strong></p><p>There are almost unlimited possibilities with a military look, and the military is quite popular right now. For men and women both, almost any branch of the military will do, but go beyond the obvious and think of either stylized or vintage looks.</p><p>A traditional sailor suit from times gone by can be adjusted to be a very sexy Halloween costume. For women, this has already been done for you with some revealing dresses with the traditional flap collar and short skirts. You would never have seen these outfits on any ship, but everyone knows what they are. For men, the look of the sailor from the late 1800s and early 1900 can be achieved with tight trousers and a white or blue, short cut "sailor" jacket that can show off your assets quite well.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Domestic</strong></p><p>The maid costume is the first thing we think of in this category, but you can go much further. Many romance novels are full of chauffeurs, footmen, stable boys, even butlers, sweeping the lady of the house off her feet. For women, don't stop at the maid. How about a farm-girl or milk maid? Also, a "pent-up" secretary look can be quite sexy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> Master/Slave</strong></p><p>Here is where you can let your imagination fly. A man or a woman can take either role (or both roles!) in this area, and with the latest Fifty Shades of Grey craze, this is a ripe area of sexy costume ideas. It doesn't require leather or black latex outfits (although, if you have or can get those, they will work very well.) Any "severe" outfit will do, tight-fitting and fairly unadorned. And you can purchase plastic chains at almost any hardware store and dog collars at any pet shop and you're on your way.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Super Hero</strong></p><p>Most super heroes are sexy by their very nature, so this is an easy area to think about. It may not be as simple to create a superhero costume, but you can get anyone you can think of at any costume outlet. You also might consider mixing and matching to create your own superhero.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Supernatural</strong></p><p>Here is where the vampires come, but go beyond that. How about angels? You can be a light and "good" angel, with white wings and flowing white clothing, but how about going dark with a black outfit and black wings?</p><p><br></p><p>And we think of ghouls and zombies as grotesque and not in the least bit sexy, but consider doing them differently from the norm: The pale, slightly gaunt features can be very sexy when the body is adorned with strategically "decomposed" clothing.</p><p>When putting only a little thought into it, you can have many areas to consider for your sexy Halloween costume.</p><p><br></p>
