Wooden door is coated with many different processes, and the principle of process design is to select suitable paint varieties, determine the coating process and the configuration of related equipment in accordance with customer requirements and standards for wooden door products. In terms of the surface effect requirements of wooden door products, we can divide them into fully enclosed effects and semi-open effects (including fully open effects); at the same time, they can be divided into transparent effects and solid color effects.

In the market, we can see most of the wooden door products, the surface coating effect is a fully enclosed transparent colored effect, the coatings used are mainly PU paint, which is suitable for the paint coating of most wooden door companies operation. It's just that each factory has made some adjustments on the basis of the original process according to the product positioning of their respective companies and the materials used, and have derived many different process operations. The following introduces the various derived process operations.

Process 1: One bottom and one side

1. Process flow: white blank polishing → squeegee ash → polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → spraying colored transparent surface.

2. Product positioning: low-end products.

3. Advantages: The process is the simplest and the painting cost is the lowest. In the case of obvious defects in the white wood billet, wood-colored water gray is used to fill it, and the colored transparent surface is sprayed with a darker color, which can better cover the substrate. defect. Uniform color.

4. Disadvantages: The product has no permeability, and the natural texture beauty of wood cannot be seen clearly. The overall coating effect is similar to the effect of solid color paint on MDF. Because the primer is only applied once, the filling of the product is not good, and the anti-sagging property is not good. It is prone to wavy ups and downs in the paint film on the surface of the product, which greatly affects the overall beauty of the product. The sanding of water ash is the most time-consuming, labor-intensive and dusty, making sanding work difficult.

Process 2: Two bottoms and one side (including water gray type)

1. Process flow: white blank polishing → squeegee ash → polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → spraying colored transparent surface.

2. Product positioning: middle and low grade.

3. Advantages: The process is relatively simple, the coating cost is low, and it has better filling and sag resistance than the previous process.

4. Disadvantages: The permeability of the product is not very good, the layering is not strong, and the natural texture and beauty of the wood can not be displayed well. The sanding strength of water ash is large, and the dust is large.

5. Suggestions: (1) Change the wood-colored water gray to "colored water gray"; (2) Change the sprayed colored transparent topcoat to use color repairing essential oil to repair the color, lightly sand, and then spray the transparent topcoat. This will greatly enhance the permeability and layering of the product, so that the texture of the wood can be expressed more clearly, and the overall cost will not increase much.

Process 3: Three bottoms and one side

1. Process flow: white body polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → spraying transparent primer → polishing → color repairing → light polishing → spraying clear top coat.

2. Product positioning: mid-to-high-end products.

3. Advantages: good permeability and can clearly show the natural texture of wood. The construction of water ash is omitted, and the intensity of polishing is reduced.

4. Disadvantages: The cost is high, and the process has not been simplified. If it is a deep wood eye material, the three primers will not achieve good fullness. If the wood grain texture of the material is fine, the effect of the wood grain texture cannot be enhanced (only the real expression).

5. Suggestions: (1) If the material has deep wood eyes, the second primer can be wet-on-wet; (2) The second primer can also be changed from spraying to scraping, which will not only save a lot of money Cost, better coating effect.

Process 4: bottom coloring, surface trimming

1. Process flow: white blank polishing → spray sealing and solid base → polishing → rub PU Grace → spray transparent primer → polish → spray transparent primer → polish → spray transparent primer → polish → color repair → light polish → spray Clear finish.

2. Product positioning: high-end products.

3. Advantages: It has very good permeability and layering (three-dimensional). Even if the texture of the wood itself is not clear enough, the texture can be expressed more clearly through the above process operations.

4. Disadvantages: high cost and long operation time.

5. Suggestions: (1) If the texture of the wood itself is very clear and beautiful, it is not necessary to use base coloring (such as Sapele veneer, directly used as a transparent primer, the wood eye itself will emit a flashing red effect. Very beautiful. But if the base coloring process is done, this effect will not be shown); (2) After the base coloring process is used, the color of the surface trimming can be lighter, so that the layering and permeability are better.

Through the above process introduction and analysis, we can see that each process has its applicability and its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, when we choose the process, we must consider the actual needs and conditions to select the appropriate process, otherwise it will be difficult to achieve our ideal results, sometimes cost more, and we cannot achieve the desired effect and quality.
