Working principle of double-sided tooth timing belt:

The double-sided tooth synchronous belt drive is composed of an endless belt with equal-spaced teeth on the inner peripheral surface and a belt pulley with corresponding teeth. During operation, the belt teeth mesh with the tooth groove of the pulley to transmit motion and power. A new belt drive that combines the advantages of belt drive and chain drive gear drive. Precautions for installation and use of double-sided toothed synchronous belt and synchronous wheel: reduce the center distance of the pulley. If there is a tension wheel, it should be loosened first, and then adjust the center distance after installing the belt. For the transmission with fixed center distance, the pulley should be removed first, and then the belt is installed on the pulley, and then the pulley is installed on the shaft to fix it.

The following points should also be noted during installation:

①When installing the double-sided tooth timing belt, if the center distance of the two pulleys can be moved, the center distance of the pulley must be shortened first, and then the center distance should be reset after installing the timing belt. If there is a tensioner, first relax the tensioner, then install the timing belt, and then install the tensioner. ② When installing the timing belt on the pulley, remember not to use excessive force or pry the timing belt with a screwdriver to prevent the tensile layer in the timing belt from breaking due to imperceptible appearance. When designing the pulley, it is better to choose the structure where the two shafts can move closer to each other. If the structure does not allow it, it is best to install the timing belt and the pulley together on the corresponding shaft.

③ Control proper initial tension.

④ In the double-sided toothed synchronous belt transmission, the parallelism of the axis of the two pulleys is relatively high, if not, the synchronous belt will run out of motion during work, or even jump out of the pulley. Non-parallel axes will cause uneven pressure and early wear of the teeth.

⑤The rack supporting the pulley must have sufficient rigidity, if not, the pulley will cause the two axes to be non-parallel when the combination lock is running
