<p>Ultraviolet sterilization is a traditional and effective disinfection method, which has been widely used in hospitals, schools, food factories, water treatment, etc., but it is affected by many factors in the use process, especially the low radiation intensity of the lamp and improper application will affect the disinfection and sterilization effect. Radiation intensity of <a href="https://www.tnuvir.com/uv-lamp" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><a href="https://www.tnuvir.com/uv-lamp" target="_blank">ultraviolet sterilization lamp</a></strong></a> tube:</p><p><br></p><p>Ultraviolet radiation intensity is the most basic factor that affects disinfection effect, according to "technical specification of disinfection" the requirement that sets, radiation intensity of new ultraviolet sterilization lamp&nbsp;should be greater than 100 W/cm2(distance 1m place) it is qualified, the lamp in use radiate intensity lowest should reach 70 W/cm2 temporarily can be used, but must extend illuminate time. Generally 20 ~ 40℃ room temperature is the appropriate temperature for ultraviolet disinfection, in this temperature range of ultraviolet radiation intensity is the largest and stable, can achieve the ideal disinfection effect</p><p><br></p><p>4. Relative humidity</p><p><br></p><p>With high relative humidity, less uv radiation penetrates cells. Relevant literature introduces, when relative humidity is in 55% ~ 60%, ultraviolet ray kills the rate of the microorganism strongest, when relative humidity is in 60% ~ 70% above, the microorganism sensitive rate to ultraviolet ray reduces, relative humidity is in 80% above even has the activation effect to the microorganism instead, can make the bactericidal force reduces 30% ~ 40%. Just wet mop the ground and wipe desktop immediately after ultraviolet disinfection, can make indoor humidity increases, affect disinfection effect. Accordingly, when using ultraviolet ray disinfection indoor should keep clean, dry.</p><p><br></p><p>Protect against uv radiation damage</p><p><br></p><p>Main prevent ultraviolet ray to the eye, the skin of the face exposure radiation injury, do not look directly at the lamp tube to prevent cause conjunctivitis. Do not make ultraviolet ray illuminant irradiate directly to the person, lest the skin produces erythema. Ultraviolet radiation can release ozone. Excessive ozone can be toxic to people. The concentration of ozone should not exceed 0.3mg/m3 in a manned working environment. Should be in the room under the condition of unmanned ultraviolet radiation. Ordinary glass or sunglasses can also be used as a protective mask to protect the eyes and facial skin.</p><p><br></p><p>6. Clean the lamp tube regularly</p><p><br></p><p>The dust of ultraviolet sterilization lamp&nbsp;tube surface and oily dirty, can hinder ultraviolet ray to penetrate, the wipe that should notice lamp tube in use and keep clean, before new lamp tube is used, can use cotton ball of 75% alcohol to wipe first. Use in the process of general every 2 weeks wipe once. When discovering lamp tube surface has dirt, grease, answer to wipe at any time, maintain the cleanness of lamp tube and transparent, lest affect the penetration of ultraviolet ray and radiation intensity.</p><p><br></p><p>7. Strengthen the monitoring of the radiation intensity of ultraviolet sterilization lamp&nbsp;tube</p><p><br></p><p>The ultraviolet sterilization lamp&nbsp;in use should 3 ~ 6 months make an intensity examination with ultraviolet ray illuminance instrument, the lamp tube that discovers intensity unqualified should be replaced in time. Calibration is made annually with an ultraviolet ray illuminometer to maintain accuracy. When monitoring, it must be in accordance with the measurement conditions in the technical specification for disinfection, the voltage is 220V, the temperature is above 20℃, the relative humidity is less than 60%, the stable intensity after 5min of turning on the lamp is the radiation intensity of the ultraviolet sterilization lamp. Also can use ultraviolet radiation intensity chemistry to indicate a card to measure, will indicate card to be apart from lamp tube 1m place irradiate 1min, photosensitive coating turns purple red by white, compare with standard color piece, can know lamp tube radiate intensity, knew the use of ultraviolet sterilization lamp and test method.</p>
