What do the equipment need to do before drilling the <a href="https://www.atechpcb.com/pcb-manufacturing" target="_blank">double-sided pcb

1. double-sided pcb regularly cleans the magnetic head and other components:

For paper tape drives, tape drives or floppy disk devices, the head must be cleaned on time. In addition, the light bulb, lens, luminous tube and photoelectric cell of the paper tape machine should be cleaned regularly.

2. Reasonably set the parameters of the double-sided pcb factory:

The main parameters of the device include coordinates, metric / imperial, absolute / incremental, EIA code / ASCⅡ code, leading zero / post zero, etc. The basic parameters of the drill bit include T (1/2/3), drill diameter, feed, speed, etc.

3. double-sided pcb pre-heating equipment:

Each time the spindle that starts the ball bearing must be warmed up in advance. If it is more than 1 hour away from use, it must be reheated. Oil mist lubricated spindles are a special case and do not require preheating. The above preheating operation can keep the CNC drilling machine safe and stable. Insufficient preheating will produce more low-quality drill holes.

So how to preheat the spindle? In fact, it is to install a drill bit in the spring chuck, the drill speed is controlled at 15,000 per minute, and it must continue to rotate for a quarter of an hour. If there is a special preheating program, then the efficiency will be very high. Remember that if the high-speed rotation of the collet chuck is not installed, it will inevitably destroy the spindle.

4. The drilling quality of the double-sided pcb is closely related to the radial runout of the drill shaft, so it should be checked on time. The method is still very simple: put the standard rod into the collet chuck, the dial gauge measuring head is placed about 19 mm away from the lower end face of the collet chuck, and then slowly rotate the drill shaft, then the dial gauge will turn The amount of runout is determined. Each drill axis of some CNC drilling machines is equipped with a laser measuring instrument, which can measure the diameter, radial runout and axial dimension of the drill bit. If there is such a device, the efficiency will be much improved. Under normal circumstances, the cycle of replacing the collet chuck is half a year, this should be noted.

5. The double-sided pcb drill bit should be controlled at about 1.3 mm below the drill shaft presser foot pad. The sequence of drilling steps is as follows: ①The presser foot pad first presses the laminated board of the base plate; ②The drill bit drills down; ③The drill bit is removed when the tool is retracted;

The pressure of the presser foot of the cylinder and spring should be controlled at 21-42N / ㎡. When the diameter of the drill bit is not more than half a millimeter, it is better to choose a rigid presser foot pad.

6. double-sided pcb factory measured drilling depth

Generally speaking, all drilling thresholds are that the tip of the drill bit is just on the surface of the table. Everyone is familiar with the standard drill bit installation size of 0.8 inches, but there are other specifications. We generally adjust the drilling threshold to just 1 mm deep into the backing plate or half the thickness of the backing plate.

There are two reasons: if it is too shallow, it is easy to make the substrate on the surface of the backing plate difficult to drill through; if it is too deep, the wear rate of the drill bit is relatively high.
